19-yr-old boy defiles his sisters aged 6, 8

Rape An Ogudu Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State , yesterday, remanded a 19-year-old man, Andrew Chinedu, in prison over alleged defilement of two sisters, aged eight and six years. The magistrate, Mrs E. Kubeinje, said that Chinedu was to spend the next 65 days in prison pending the receipt of legal advice from the State Director of Public Prosecutions, DPPs. Kubeinje, who gave the ruling, also refused to take the plea of the accused. Chinedu, an apprentice, who resides in Irawo, is standing trial on a two-count charge of child defilement and sexual assault. At the commencement of the case, the prosecutor, Inspector Lucky Ihiehie, urged the court to remand the accused in prison, pending the receipt of legal advice from the DPP’s office. Apple could slash iPhone prices as China pressures affect sales

The figures covering its first financial quarter to the end of December were issued after the US markets closed and followed a revenue warning issued by the company earlier in the month which flagged weaker-than-expected China sales and poor phone upgrade numbers. Apple reported a 5% fall in overall revenue to $84.3bn (£64.5bn) - in line with its lower guidance and down 5% on the same period last year. But it said iPhone revenues - which make up the bulk of its revenue - were 15% lower. Kite surfer makes 'record' leap over 200-metre sand spit in Devon

A 200-metre leap by a British kite surfer over a sand spit in Dawlish Warren on the south coast of Devon could be one for the record books. Professional kite boarder Olly Bridge told Sky News he flew about 200 meters over the sand spit, in a stunt that he believes has never been attempted and landed before. The Allied Congress Party of Nigeria, ACPN, actually has a squirrel as its logo, but I didn’t make out the silhouette until the leadership of the party showed its furry hand last week.
